The Genesis of the Idea
Remember when smartphones and tablets started infiltrating the workplace? Employees were bringing their own devices, accessing company data from anywhere. It was a new era of flexibility and productivity, but the old security measures simply weren’t up to the task. Complicated passwords, clunky tokens – they were a hindrance, not a help.
This sparked a vision. What if security could be as seamless and intuitive as the devices themselves? This question led to the creation of Idenprotect, spearheaded by our founder, and CEO, a true security expert with a passion for innovative solutions. He recognised the need for robust security that worked seamlessly in a BYOD world, without compromising on user experience.
Driven by this vision, Idenprotect set out to build a solution that would eliminate the frustrations and vulnerabilities associated with traditional authentication methods. And so, Passport, our flagship product, was born. Designed to eliminate the need for passwords entirely, Passport was a bold step towards a future where security was an enabler, not a barrier.
Key Milestones and Achievements
- 2014: Idenprotect begins its journey with the launch of Passport, our groundbreaking passwordless authentication solution.
- 2018: Idenprotect secures its first client for Passport, validating the market need for streamlined and secure authentication.
- 2020: The pandemic accelerates the need for secure remote working solutions. Idenprotect responds by developing Go, a secure enterprise browser.
- November 2022: Go for iOS is launched, empowering businesses to secure their iOS devices.
- 2024: Idenprotect continues to innovate and expand its product offerings.
- July 2024: Go for Android is launched, extending secure browsing capabilities to Android users.
- June 2024: Idenprotect pilots its innovative signing app, further enhancing security and user experience.

With over twenty five years in cybersecurity management, including expertise gained at CESG/GCHQ and senior roles at Barclays, HSBC, UBS, and the FSA, Craig leads Idenprotect’s strategic vision. He is focused on establishing Idenprotect as the leading provider of phishing-resistant, passwordless authentication solutions.

CTO
Giles brings 28 years of technology and enterprise software expertise to Idenprotect. He has a strong track record of building and managing global technology teams, honed through his experience at Vodafone, BCA, Amplifi, and Selina Finance. At Idenprotect, Giles leads software development, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of robust and cutting-edge security solutions.

Head of Product
Petteri brings twenty years of technology and product management expertise to Idenprotect, with a strong background in start-up and scale-up environments. His experience at Nokia, OneSpan, Fingopay, and Vorto informs his leadership of Idenprotect’s product strategy, driving the development of innovative and user-centric security solutions.
